Mike Berry is a mushroom grower and farmer living at the foot of the Appalachian mountains.
Besides his mushroom operation, he also raises pastured chickens, quail, pigs, and ducks, tends to multiple garden plots and fields, manages several honey bee hives, plus oversees a herd of 14 goat wethers as they clear field edges and overgrown forests from invasive plants such as kudzu, autumn olive, and oriental bittersweet.
